Internet Service

Everyone uses the internet in Korea. Most likely there will be high-speed Internet access for teachers to use at work.

Do you want to install the Internet in your Place?

You have two options:
  • 1. Get it on your own after you get your allience card and install it yourself
  • 2. Get it under your Korean friend's name.
  • 3. You can be lucky and have an employer who will help you out. Makes life much easier!

Because of the language barrier, it will be much easier if you get a Korean friend's help.
The service fee can be withdrawn automatically from your bank account.
The installation fee is usually free and service fee varies from 25,000won to 45,000won(per month) depending on the service package and Internet speed that you choose.

Where can I use the Internet if i don't have a computer?

You should definitely go to a place called "PC Bang" or "PC Room". Regardless of where you live, I am sure you will see lots of "PC" signs and that's the place you can use the Internet with the low cost of 1,000 won to 1,500 won per hour.
