Visitors teaching English in Korea will find Taxi stands located at any major intersection. As of February 2008, the basic fare for a regular taxi in Seoul is 1900 won. The fare increases by both distance and time. To get an idea of how much taxis cost, you can ride 4-6 km for about 5,000 won.
