Are You Qualified to Teach English in Korea?

To determine if you are qualified to teach English in Korea, you must meet these basic requirements:

1. English must be your first language.
2. You must be a citizen of one of the following countries:
   • Australia
   • Canada
   • Ireland
   • New Zealand
   • South Africa
   • United Kingdom
   • United States of America
3. You must meet one of the following educational requirements in order to teach English in Korea:
   • Completion of the first two years of a Bachelor's Degree at a nationally accredited university.
   • Graduated and hold a diploma from a minimum of two years study at a nationally accredited post-secondary institution (ex. community college, vocational college, TAFE)
4. You must have a valid passport with at least six (6) months validity remaining in order to teach English in Korea.
