To make the whole process go as quickly and as easily as possible, its best that you understand everything that will happen in advance and be aware of what will be required for you. The whole process is outlined for you below.
STEP ONE - ARE YOU QUALIFIED?
To determine if you are qualified, you must meet these basic requirements:
- 1. English must be your first language (i.e. You must be a native speaker)
- 2. You must be a citizen of one of the following:
- -Australia
- -Canada
- -Ireland
- -New Zealand
- -South Africa
- -United Kingdom
- -United States of America
- 3. You must possess a Bachelor¡¯s Degree from an accredited four (4) year institution.
- 4. You must have a valid passport with at least six (6) months validity remaining.
- 5. You must be passionate about working with children and helping them learn to express themselves fully in English.

STEP TWO - INTERVIEW WITH THINKOUTSIDE
As stated previously, the most difficult decision that you have to make is to decide exactly what kind of teaching position you are looking for and where on the Korean peninsula you would like to be placed. After receiving your application, you will be contacted by a representative of ThinkOutside. The purpose of these interviews is to discuss your teaching options and to help you decide exactly what type of job you would like best. ThinkOutside¡¯s trained representatives will consult with you on your preference of student age and number, location in Korea, exact level of experience and they will be able to answer any questions that you may have.
STEP THREE - THE JOB SEARCH
Now is the part where you can begin to sit back and relax. ThinkOutside¡¯s excellent representatives will scour the job database for available positions that meet your requirements. The representatives will then contact you with the positions which most suit your needs, complete with a description of the job, a contract phone number and email address, details of the location and a website, if one is available.
STEP FOUR - ACCEPTING THE POSITION
Upon reviewing the recommended positions, ThinkOutside¡¯s representatives will contact the school of your choice and put forth your qualifications. If your qualifications are what the school is looking for, ThinkOutside¡¯s representative will then set up an interview between you and the director of the school. If you are offered a job, continue on to Step Five. If you aren¡¯t offered the job, or if you decide not to take the job, go back to Step Three and ThinkOutside¡¯s representative will help you refine or expand what you are looking for and help you find another position.
STEP FIVE - SIGN THE CONTRACT AND GET READY FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!
After the phone interview, and if you are offered a job, ThinkOutside¡¯s representative will send you a copy of the employment contract. Send the signed employment contract to ThinkOutside along with the REQUIRED DOCUMENTS for the E2 visa, following the ThinkOutside¡¯s representative¡¯s instructions.
